The films to compete at the ninth LSFF have already been established. Out of the 934 films from 71 countries that had been sent to the festival, the jury selected 26 films that will compete for the Grand Prix of the Life Sciences Film Festival with 1000 EUR prize money.

You will again get the chance to see films from around the world – from France, Canada, USA, Germany, Ireland and The Netherlands, to name just a few. This year the competition section contains four representatives from the Czech Republic: Veronika Kastlová’s Borderless Forests, Zdeněk Suchý’s films Czechs Protect Elands in Senegal and Czechs Protect Bison in Bohemia and finally Stark Images of the Czech Landscape in 100 Years by Martin Slunečko

Film screenings, lectures and debates take place in the Hall at the Czech University of Life Sciences. All screenings are free entry!

During the festival you can individually watch any of the films from the LSFF catalogue in SIC. The list of all films at the ninth LSFF will soon be available in the online film catalogue.

The programme of screenings and debates with our guests will be published on our web page in the middle of October.
