One million tons of bananas are eaten by Germans every year, they are first in Europe. The film uncovers the enormous power of supermarkets and shows the dramatic consequences of our low price spiral for workers and the environment in Latin America. Sustainable banana production depends ever more on consumers, supermarkets and politics for support.
