One hundred years ago the Austro-Hungarian empire fell apart. While the landscape remained fragmented in Austria, Czech and Moravian countryside has changed beyond recognition. Monocultures on huge land areas hasten climatic changes and cause droughts and soil erosion. Can our landscape survive another century? The documentary is hosted by geologist, climatologist and writer Václav Cílek.
