Oceans North Canada: Protecting Manitoba's Beluga Estuaries

Moře severní Kanady: Ochrana ústí řek v Manitobě

More than 57,000 beluga whales use the Hudson Bay estuaries to mate and molt away from any predators. But the whales need protection from other risks like oil spills or ship-related noise moving in through the Port of Churchill. Biologists and researchers are tracking beluga whales to learn about their environment and their importance to Inuit.
