Capital for the Canopy

Kapitál pro nebesa

Capital for the Canopy is a plea to implement REDD+ (Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation), an international plan to compensate developing nations in preserving their forests. Filmed in Central America, Haiti, and Colorado, the film argues that giving people in these countries better access to energy through economic compensation would allow them to both preserve their forests and enjoy a better quality of life.
