Canada’s National Parks: The Mingan Archipelago - A Hidden Treasure

Kanadské národní parky: Souostroví Mingan - ukrytý poklad

To the far east of the province of Québec, just off the St. Lawrence Gulf coast, lies a hidden treasure: the Mingan Archipelago. Thanks to its unique rock formations and eclectic animal world it was declared a national park in 1984. The Mingan Archipelago covers an area of 100 square kilometres which also encompasses 30 large and small islands.
