Artificial Wetland

Umělé mokřady

Artificial wetlands are an installation for the treatment of runoff water from the rural farm yard. After rains these runoff waters are heavily polluted by nitrogen and phosphorus coming from stockpiles of natural fertilizer, farm buildings, piles of silage, etc. The installation allows the reduction of nitrogen and phosphorus content in water runoffs from rural farm yards by 70-80%.
